		<description>Beautiful piece and a very apt comparison... I&#039;ve been living in Turkey for just over two and a half years and it is truly disorienting to go back to where everything is orderly, understandable, and available. I always end up shell-shocked in some store or another, staring at a shelf full of chewing gum or beer or toothpaste, completely unable to make a decision when faced with so many choices. I love living in Istanbul, but unlike you, I think I&#039;ll probably return to my hometown (San Francisco) someday. I don&#039;t regret my decision to leave, but there are still many things I love and miss about it. Much like how I feel about &lt;em&gt;my&lt;/em&gt; ex-boyfriend, actually...</description>
